As you may know, Désjà Vu means “The scarf for you.”But Désjà Vu also refers to the feeling of recognizing something you have seen or experienced before. With our brand, we also want to create products that give you that special déjà vu feeling. ✨

The idea of Grandma’s bag came up quite quickly.

I clearly remember staying over at my grandmother’s house when I was little. We would go out together on her bicycle. I would sit on the back, with my feet in the bike bags, and she would also have two bags hanging from her handlebars.

After we had done the groceries, those bags were always filled with delicious treats. I loved it, and I can still bring that feeling back instantly.

I would say very seriously:"Grandma, when you die, may I have your bicycle and your two bags?"

My grandmother thought that was wonderful. She would laugh and say:"Of course, child — but the bicycle will be very old by then, and the bags might be broken."

What she didn’t know at the time was that those bags were practically indestructible and would become a beautiful inspiration.

If she had known that these bags would one day become part of our Désjà Vu brand, she would have been incredibly proud — and probably quite surprised that those bags (and the bicycle, haha) had made such an impression.

The search began, and we wanted to give the bag a new look, with golden handles and a larger size.

When the first samples arrived, we were immediately enthusiastic. The beautiful colors, the golden handles, and the size — everything felt just right and perfectly matched our brand.

Whenever I see the bag somewhere, it always brings a big smile to my face.

Because at that moment, I experience another lovely déjà vu memory of my grandmother.
